Pray for what WE want, thank Him for what He
gives US, doubt when He
doesn’t answer OUR prayers.
Now we’re on the verge of losing our freedoms; so
what are we praying for, how are we
praying? HOW WILL WE SAY THANKS? WHAT DO WE WANT
TO BE THANKFUL FOR?
SONG: “My Tribute (Philippians
4:6 Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and
petition, with thanksgiving, present your request. And the peace of God…)
1)With His blood He
has saved meRomans 5:9 Since we
have now been justified by his blood, how much more
shall we be saved
from God's wrath through him!)
Isaiah 53:5 …he was pierced
for our transgressions, he was crushed for our
iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was
upon him, and by
his wounds we are healed.
2)With His
power He has raised me (Rom 5:10
For if, when we were God's
enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of
his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we
be saved through
his life!)
Right praise in the right direction (TO GOD…FOR THE THINGS –
WHAT THINGS?
QUESTION:
Are we saved
AND raised?
Right response for the right reason (LET ME LIVE…LET IT BE PLEASING)
QUESTION:
Are we living for God’s pleasure?
Right result from the right perspective (IF I GAIN ANY PRAISE…LET IT GO
TO CALVARY)
QUESTION:
If God gives success, does He get the credit? Does It
point to what He’s done?
The older I get, the shorter my list of
want gets, the
more urgent my/our mission gets,
Bigger
barns!
