ALL MISSION IS REALLY GOD ON
HIS MISSION…
THY KINGDOM COME…
Created “good” – with God good
has no “better” or “best”
Sin
entered the world and God
judged it
Jesus came and
fixed it.
“I am come that they
might have life (present)
and have it more abundantly (present)
“I am the
way…truth…life”
Not the way it’s supposed to be…won’t always be that way
THY WILL BE DONE…
Sovereign: Not known
in advance, cannot be disobeyed
Moral: Completely and
clearly revealed, must be obeyed
Individual: Freedom
within moral, wisdom to choose, guaranteed results (His
glory, our good)
1. Where God
commands, we must obey
2. Where there is
no command, God gives us freedom (and
responsibility) to choose
3. Where there is
no command, God gives us wisdom to choose
4. When we have chosen what is moral and wise, we must trust
the sovereign God to work all the details together for good.

Devil coming and going, constantly accusing,

Jesus at the right hand of the Father advocating for us
WHAT WOULD THAT LOOK LIKE ON EARTH NOW?

Footstool of God

Satan at war with the Church
3)
Devil constantly deceiving, convincing us that we can go it
alone; directing us to moral choices that are OUTSIDE His
will
4)
Jesus,
with
all authority, always with us!
WHAT’S DIFFERENT?
►Revelation 12:10-11
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "NOW
have come the
salvation
and the
power and the
kingdom
of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser
of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and
night, has been hurled down.
They overcame him by the blood
of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;
SALVATION IN A NUTSHELL! they
did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
►Ephesians 1:9
And he made known to us
the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure,
which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the
times will have reached their fulfillment — to bring all

in heaven and on
earth together under one head, even Christ.

Brought to human reality at Pentecost
TAUGHT

DEMONSTRATED
in the NT and Church Age
The church is the “kingdom of heaven on earth” (NOW)
HOW DO WE GET THERE?
Luke 4:18
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to
preach good news to
the poor, He has sent me to proclaim
freedom for the
prisoners
and recovery of
sight for the blind,
release for the
oppressed, to
proclaim the year
of the Lord’s favor...(21) ...today this
scripture HAS BEEN FULFILLED in your hearing.”
