WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

Main issue:
What inspires us? Does what inspires us change us?
I was
created to “glorify God.”
Verse 1: “glorify Your Son that
Your Son may glorify You”
Verse 6: “I have revealed you to
those whom you gave me…”
Verse 10: “glory has come to Me
through them”
Verse 21: “may they also be in us
so that the world may believe…”
I.
HOW WOULD YOU SAY IT?
To me,
“glorify God” means…
In other
words…
I know God
is being glorified when…
I was
designed to live in “community.”
Verse 17: “sanctify them by the
truth; Your Word is truth”
Verse 22: “I have given them the
glory you gave me, that they may be one as we are one.”
Verse 23: “May they be brought
to complete unity to let the world know…that You love them…”
HOW WOULD
YOU SAY IT?
To me,
“community” is…
In other
words…
I recognize
being in the community I was designed for when…
Jesus said,
“Come, follow me!”
Verses 6-8: "I have revealed you
to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you
gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know
that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave
them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew
with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you
sent me.
HOW WOULD
YOU SAY IT?
To me,
Jesus’ call to follow Him means…
In other
words…
To know I’m
following Jesus when…
Jesus said,
“Go, make disciples!”
Verse 20: "My prayer is not for
them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through
their message…”
Verse 26: “I have made you known
to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the
love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in
them."
HOW WOULD

To me,
Jesus’ command to go and make disciples means…

I know I’m
being obedient when…
